A conversation about veteran homelessness

When you think about homeless veterans, what image comes to mind?  Sharp young men and women in their mid-20s who can’t find a permanent home?  Professionals in their 50s or 60s that lose their home to a big bank like BofA?  Or do you think of people standing on the side of the road wearing green Army jackets holding cardboard saying “Will work for food”?  It’s time to break that stereotype.

We will speak with homeless veteran advocates, social workers that work with veterans, military and veteran members that are trying to build homes for vets, and even some (formerly) homeless vets themselves.  Find out what is really going on to help veterans find homes, and we will dispel some of the myths out there as well.  We look forward to you joining in!
